Cloud Nine Coffee is a small roastery in Hobart. This site, and the software behind it, is built and run by Josh Walker, a sole trader, not a formal arm of the roastery’s business, just someone who roasts coffee and got tired of bad software for it.
Why this exists
Most roasting software is built by people who roast occasionally, for people who roast constantly. Roast Profiler started as a way to track roasts, manage green coffee, and plan production without fighting tools designed for someone else’s workflow. It’s what runs the day-to-day here, and it’s now available to other roasteries too.
The blog is the same instinct applied to writing: notes on roasting, gear, and origin worth sharing, plus a growing library of what’s been learned about coffee itself.
